Dell Technologies Supports Call for Stronger Cyber Defenses in the Age of AI

Company joins OpenAI and industry partners in urging coordinated action to close the cybersecurity readiness gap

TEXAS - Cyber defense is a shared responsibility, and the rapid advancement of AI makes coordinated action more urgent. Dell Technologies has joined OpenAI's call for collective action on cyber defense to help close the gap between the threats we collectively face and the readiness most organizations have today. Dell is among the industry signatories supporting the call, according to the official website of Dell.

As the window to find and fix security weaknesses narrows, Dell is proactively investing in strengthening the security of its products, so customers can trust that their technology has a secure foundation. Through Dell's resilient infrastructure and devices, cyber resilience solutions, and security services expertise, Dell will continue helping organizations strengthen security across the full technology stack, protect critical systems and data and treat recovery with the same rigor as prevention.

OpenAI's letter calls on industry partners to strengthen existing tools with AI, continuously test defenses against advanced cyber capabilities and make AI-powered defense more accessible and deployable, particularly for critical infrastructure. Dell is working alongside industry partners, governments and customers to turn this call into measurable progress. That means protecting more organizations, containing attacks faster, verifying that fixes work and helping critical systems recover.
