Eden Housing Association Keeps Its House in Order with Numara Track-It! from Numara Software

READING, UK - Numara Software Inc., global leaders in service desk and asset management solutions, advised that Eden Housing Association (EHA) has kept its IT house in good order thanks to the Numara Track-It! help desk and asset management solution from Numara Software which has ensured it is 100 percent software license compliant.

In today's economic climate, like most organizations, everyone is under pressure to look at ways they can reduce costs.  EHA did look at other various free alternatives to Numara Track-It! during this time to ensure that we were achieving best value. However the response from the IT team was extremely negative.

The feedback received from the IT team was that they would be extremely disappointed if Numara Track-It! was removed from the organization because it had completely changed the way they organized their work, in a positive way. The feedback clearly showed that the IT team valued Numara Track-It.!

The IT team at EHA consists of three people who support the IT needs of their 70 employees on an internal and external basis, generating approximately 20-25 calls to the IT help desk per week.  EHA implemented Numara Track-It! in 2005 to provide an effective help desk system to its staff but to also ensure it was managing its inventory correctly.  Sean Relph continues:

It's helped us keep the IT department in order. Prior to using Numara Track-It! we were using a combination of emails and Microsoft Word to manage the incoming IT requests, and also an Access database and Microsoft Excel to manage our inventory of software assets.  We wanted one central place where we could record and manage everything, and Numara Track-It! was the ideal solution for us.

Previously, all of our assets were logged across various applications and keeping track of everything was an arduous and time-consuming process.  But the inventory capabilities have definitely made this easier for us and ensured we're on top of our software licenses.
