WOW Logistics Named in FL100 for Information Technology

APPLETON, WISCONSIN - WOW Logistics announced in a press release that they have been named in Food Logistics Magazine's FL100 list for a second year in a row. Each year, the editors of Food Logistics recognize 100 technology and solution providers that help grocery and food industry distributors and manufacturers reach their business goals. This year, the magazine focused the theme on bouncing back through tough economic times with technology.

Despite the harsh environment, the past year has seen a number of food and beverage companies implementing technology solutions especially transportation management and warehouse management systems where they can see a quick ROI, says Katherine Doherty, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics magazine.

Many of our FL100 recipients report that the food industry is still a strong vertical for them in fact, it's one of the few markets that they are actually seeing any growth.

Justina Johnson, vice president of Information Technology at WOW adds WOW is honored to be recognized by Food Logistics Magazine for a second year in a row for our use of technology in the warehousing industry.  We work closely with our clients to identify opportunities where WOW Technology can provide greater efficiencies, drive out costs and provide them with real-time information to help them take their business to the next level.

The FL100 listing provides a guide for decision-making grocery and food service distribution and manufacturing executives. After receiving nomination forms from end users and solution providers, the editorial staff culled through more than 140 submissions to compile this year's listing.
