IT Day Celebrated in the US

WASHINGTON - Lockheed Martin, the major corporate sponsor, announced Information Technology (IT) Day 2010, a premiere event in Washington State, according to itday.org.

The IT Day was held May 12 at the Three Rivers Convention Center, located at 7016 W. Grandridge Blvd., in Kennewick, Washington. 
IT Day is an entertaining and educational activity designed to increase IT business and training throughout the local and regional community.

Each year, IT Day attracts crowds numbering in the thousands.  It is the largest event of its kind in eastern Washington.  In past years, attendees have included educators, students, politicians, business executives, and IT professionals from throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Educational sessions throughout the day covered topics including communications, energy, green technology, network solutions, small business, and cyber security.
