Lenovo Recognized by CDP for Leadership in Climate Change and Supplier Engagement

HONG KONG - For the fourth year, Lenovo has been recognized as a leader for supplier engagement (A) and climate change (A-) by the global environment non-profit CDP. This leadership ranking recognized Lenovo for its efforts in implementing current best practices against climate change and proactively working with its suppliers toward a more sustainable future. CDP also recognized Lenovo in the management band for water security recognizing Lenovo’s coordinated actions on water issues. Lenovo works to continually strengthen its environmental programs and build on its ESG commitments and recently introduced a climate transition plan and updated its corporate water policy, according to the official website of Lenovo.

Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is a not-for-profit organization that runs a global environmental disclosures system. More than 21,000 companies disclosed their environmental disclosures in 2023. For the 2024 reporting cycle, CDP has announced major changes seeking to combine its multiple questionnaires into one and align with additional ESG frameworks including International Sustainability Standards Board’s (ISSB), Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), and Science Based Targets Network (SBTN).
