TOKYO - Lenovo Japan announced that it will support the 20th Asian Games and the 5th Asian Para Games as a Tier 4 Official Supplier, providing PC Equipment and Related Services and Solutions that will help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of both events, according to the official website of Lenovo.

Throughout the Games, Lenovo will provide more than 6,100 devices, including ThinkPad™ laptops and ThinkCentre™ desktop PCs. These devices will be deployed at the Main Operations Center and competition venues, serving as critical IT infrastructure to support event management, communications, and information sharing and administration.

In addition to supplying hardware, Lenovo will provide comprehensive project management services, including the design and implementation of PC deployment and maintenance services through Plug-and-Play (PnP) support and its Device as a Service (DaaS) solutions. These services will support the full device lifecycle, from deployment and management to maintenance, enabling event organizers to focus on delivering successful competitions while ensuring efficient and stable device operations.

Lenovo will be responsible for designing and operating the on-site support framework across competition venues. During the Games, more than 30 Lenovo team members will be deployed to provide PC technical support, respond to user inquiries, and troubleshoot device-related issues. Through timely and reliable assistance, Lenovo will help maintain a stable and secure IT environment throughout the games.

In addition, Lenovo will provide Lenovo ThinkPad L16 devices (touchscreen model) for use at the Main Media Center (MMC), where journalists from around the world gather to cover the Games. The devices will support news gathering, content creation, and reporting activities, helping create a productive and comfortable working environment for domestic and international media while facilitating the timely dissemination of information about the events.
